Okay, so Jamie (my better half) got us involved in the Race For The Cure in two weeks and I got real excited to be a part of something very important. Being a product of the 80's, I was a fan of The Cure and like a lot of their music. I did think Robert Smith was a little too Goth for me, but when he did play himself on the MechaStreisand episode of South Park, I had an all new respect for him. Thinking of South Park, am I the only one that get's the character Towlie? Anyway.. They had some really cool songs and I had a lot of friends in High School that were really into them. Stace was a big fan and I know Nik loved them too.
Well anyway, I just found out that the Race For The Cure was not for the music group, but for breast cancer awarness. I thought we were all pretty aware of it, but oh well. I am always down for a good cause, especially when healthy breasts are the concern. So I wanted to wear my I Heart Boobs shirt, and Jamie tells me that it is inappropriate. I disagreed, so I need help. If you are reading my blog today, please send me your thoughts on this topic.
I would also think that maybe starting other walks for forgotten groups of the 80's. Let me know if you have any suggestions. I am planning on the first annual KajaGooGoo 5K run in January.

I am laughing out loud for so many reasons. Race for the Cure, the band. Ha ha ha. You are such a dork!
I think you should wear the t-shirt! We do the race here every year and people have all kinds of fun things on shirts. It is a great event for an even better cause.
As far as races for old 80's bands, we would be up for Tears for Fears or Squeeze! LOL.
LMAO!!!!!! You go David!!!!! YES!!!!!! Wear the shirt!!!!! Let women know you are concerned for the well being of the sisters!!!!!
As for race for "The Cure"... What about an Oingo Boingo Dead Mans 5K Party... Or... Iron Maiden's Mistreated Maids... They need some support too!!! You are too funny!!!!
